Another bulbous plant and springtime bloomer is the crocus. Always a nice addition to one's garden and if you plant them for the first time in the fall practically all of them bloom in early spring. Over time though, just like tulips, they tend to get less and most of them make only leafs. Around 10 years ago I planted around 150 of them (yellow/white/blue) but nowadays only 20 to 30 bloom each year. Still, it's a great plant for the garden.
